Performance Project Berlin / Leipzig

Transdisciplinary Physical Theatre Training & Creation

The Performance Project is more than a typical theatre course: it is a theatre-making journey culminating in one or several performances of an original work in Berlin or Leipzig. At the same time, it is a dynamic environment designed for those looking for a deep and impactful approach beyond traditional schools: professional performers aiming to refine their stage language, experienced practitioners exploring new methods, and theatre enthusiasts wishing to engage deeply with a guided artistic process.

Over the span of the project, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to Transdisciplinary Physical Theatre, along with practical tools for performance and production — from psychophysical training and research to concept development and staging.

At the same time, we will create an original performance supported by the guidance of an experienced director - or even two in the case of the Berlin project. You will have the opportunity to experiment, take creative risks, and develop your performance skills, within a process where artistic vision, technique, and collaboration intersect to produce a compelling and transformative theatre experience.

Who is this course for?
The Performance Project Berlin  is open to participants with or without previous experience. Both formally trained artists and self-taught practitioners from any discipline — acting, dance, acrobatics, music, visual arts — are welcome, as well as those without performing arts experience who come with curiosity and motivation.
We deeply value the richness of this mix. Over the years, we have seen how the encounter between different paths generates a living, mutual learning experience: professionals are refreshed, beginners dare — and often surprise. Here, it is not your prior experience that defines your place in the process, but your presence, your commitment, and your willingness to be moved by the work.
